17-3-2002 : Participated in the Symposium on Diabetic Retinopathy organized by BOA. He spoke on "Use of Wide Angle Observation System in Diabetic Vitrectomy, Control of Intra & Post Operative Haemorrhage & Febrin diabetic patients in his capacity as the President of National Society for the Prevention of Blindness India (Maharashtra Branch). The function was held at Aditya Jyot Eye Hospital and inaugurated by Shri Babubhai Bawanji, Dy. Mayor, Brihan Mumbai Mahanagar Palika.

24-1-2002 :Invited Guest Speaker at a public awareness programme organised by Rotary Club of Bombay Queen City. He spoke on "Age Related Macular Degeneration Awareness" at Mumbai.

15.12.00: DR S. NATARAJAN in his capacity as the PRESIDENT, NATIONAL SOCIETY FOR THE PREVENTION OF BLINDNESS - INDIA (MUMBAI BRANCH) organised a meeting along with Aditya Jyot Eye Research Institute to promote eye donation. The chief guest was Miss Ritu Upadhyay, who was crowned Miss India-Worldwide 2001 in Florida, the month of November 2000.

Aditya Jyot Eye Hospital is rendering charitable OPD and OT Services at Aditya Jyot Eye Hospital. Dr. Sandeep Kataria, Consultant Ophthalmologist, Cornea and Anterior Segment Fellow from L.V. Prasad Eye institute conducts a charitable OPD and OT Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 12 noon at Aditya Jyot Eye Hospital. A Charitable OPD is also being conducted at Mahalaxmi Temple assembly hall every saturday 10.30 to 12.30 p.m. by National Society for the Prevention of Blindness - India (Mumbai Branch) and Aditya Jyot Eye Research Institute. Till date 21 cataract surgeries have been done which are sponsored by Sah & Sanghi charitable trust and comes to the patient free of cost.

Organised an Eye Camp at Larsen and Toubro, Powai, Mumbai for their workers

Aditya Jyot Eye Hospital is conducting a Free Eye Clinic at Mahalaxmi Temple, Mumbai every Saturdays throughout the year. The clinic receives a large load of patients from all over Mumbai. Diagnostic workup, prescription of glasses, fundus examination and post operative care is given at this Centre to all patients irrespective of their cast, creed or religion. Cases requiring surgery are referred to Nair Hospital, Mumbai and the entire cost of surgery is borne by Aditya Jyot Eye Hospital

23.04.00: Aditya Jyot Eye Hospital conducted a diagnostic eye camp under the aegis of National Control of Blindness Programme. The camp was conducted at Lokseva Vidyalay, Naigaon, Dadar. Sixty patients were examined in detail with distribution of free glasses to the needy. Patients with cataract or requiring surgical treatment were referred to B.M.C. hospitals.

06.04.00: Organised a free eye camp at Andheri in collaboration with B.Y.L. Nair Hospital, NSPB-India, Mumbai Branch and P.V.R. Polytechnic.

23-31.08.98: Organised a Phaco camp at Ambernath in collaboration with National Society for the Prevention of Blindness - India, Mumbai Branch, Lions Club, Aditya Jyot Eye Hospital and Aditya Jyot Research Foundation. Prof. Dr. Joerg Schmidt of Germany participated in this camp.

December, 1997: Free lecture on retinal care to rotarians at Rotary Club, Mumbai.

December, 1997: "Eye Care for you" public lecture with emphasis on retina at Ghia Hall, Mumbai

October, 1997: Free eye camp with lecture to students on Eye Care with video presentation at Nehru Science Centre, Mumbai.

26th October, 1997: Participated in the Free Medical Eye Camp organised by Sadhu Vaswani Mission as a part of the 80th birthday celebration of Dada G.P. Vaswani at Pune.

Conducting a Free Eye Check-up Programme in association with Dr. Gupa Kothari under Bombay Slum Project - Operation Eyesight Universal (OEU Canada) which is being held on second and fourth Thursdays of every month and is attended by the Ophthalmologist and one Optometrist of Aditya Jyot Eye Hospital.

Started the charitable Vitreoretinal Clinic at K.B.H. Bachooali Hospital at Parel, Mumbai - 12 for treating poor patients free of cost.

October, 1996: Conducted Free Eye camp to the Senior Citizens in co-ordination with the Lion's Club at the premises of Aditya Jyot Eye Hospital.

17-12-95: Delivered a lecture on `EYE THE NATURE'S WONDERFUL CREATION" at Ishwardas Bhatia School, Wadala to the School students & the Parents.

From May '95 had started a FREE VITREORETINAL EYE CLINIC under Aditya Jyot Research Foundation. This clinic was operating between 10.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. daily from Monday to Saturday.

18-11-95: Held Public Health Meeting on Eye-Care - Retina Vitreous at Y.B.Chavan Auditorium from 6.30 p.m. - 9.30 p.m under the aegis of Bombay Ophthalmologists Association and National Society for the Prevention of Blindness - India (Bombay Branch) as a part of the 5th Anniversary celebrations of Aditya Jyot Eye Hospital. Lectures were given by Foreign and Indian Faculty Members to lay Public regarding Vitreo retinal problems such as retinal detachment, diabetic retinopathy, retinopathy of prematurity, posterior segment trauma, etc. The Chief Guest for the Public Health Meeting was Mrs. Tarla Dalal, the author of the world famous cookery books.

22 June 1995: Delivered lecture at St. Xavier's High School, Bhandup on `MYOPIA' and `DIABETIC RETINOPATHY' on the invitation of Rotary Club of Bombay North East.

23 July 1995: Conducted a FREE DIABETIC RETINOPATHY SCREENING CAMP in association with The National Society for the Prevention of Blindness - Bombay Branch. The consultation was done free of cost.
